[Vtigercrm-developers] vtiger install, check for php json support?

A while ago we had an interesting problem with the Thunderbird extension 
which we discussed on the forge bug tracker here:

The end result was that his PHP did not have the json extension enabled. 
Looking at the PHP page here: 
http://www.php.net/manual/en/json.installation.php there are a couple of 
comments about this.

I know this probably won't be a problem for many, but perhaps it would 
be a good idea to test for the json extension during the vtiger 
installation?
