[Vtigercrm-developers] Vtiger CRM 5.1.0 - 1st validation build

Hi All,


Today, we are announcing the release of the first validation build forthe
5.1 release.This build is intended for seeking feedback from community
members and to identify and fix issues before the final release. Developers
intending to develop on 5.1 can start developing on the validation build and
make use of the Web Service APIs and the vtlib module creation libraries and
report issues.

*Please do not use the 5.1 validation build on your production servers*

Open issues with 5.1.0 are accessible at http://trac.vtiger.com

*Reporting Issues:*

1. Login to trac.vtiger.com (To get access to trac.vtiger.com, please email
info at vtiger.com.)
2. Set Milestone to 5.1.0, Version to 5.1.0-val1.
3. Set appropriate Priority.

4. Provide a clear description of the issue.

*Steps to the 5.1 Release*

We will release another validation build (VB2) after fixing some of the
issues reported during the first validation cycle. Based on the feedback on
VB2, we may need another validation build or go directly to Release
candidate. The final release can be expected a few weeks after Release
candidate.
