Hi David.

I have v5.0.4 of vTiger. Does the vtlib work with my version? Also, are
there any docs for the vtlib, that walk through the process of creating a
module/tab, with subtabs...

You should definitely consider using the new vtlib.
It's really easy to create a new module in vtiger with it.
