[Vtigercrm-developers] activities vs calendar

We'd notice the change, as would our customers.

Activities, tasks in particular, are used extensively to track events
that take place during the sales cycle.

For example, when a quote is required, a sales team member adds a task
against the account that is assigned to the commercial manager. The
commercial manager sees the new activity on their home page on next
login, and processes as required.

There are other such flows.

I concur on events - seamless integration between process specific event
creation (like "call this person back at this date and time") and their
calendar.
