[Vtigercrm-developers] upgrade to latest mysql

During security implementation, we realised that with the current mysql version,
we will be taking a sizeable performance hit. We do not have any numbers as such but 
we think it will be better to move to the latest version of mysql say we support
mysql 4.1.x to the latest version.
This will involve quite some code changes so that the queries work with all
the versions of mysql.

I am looking for any easy upgrade path.

Any suggestions on this are welcome.
