 Hi,

 Please check this in latest vtiger 6.1.0 source, where you can add
 event/todo from list-view of calendar through Add event and Add todo
 button respectively.

 You can also add event/todo through quick-create option, available in
 header section of crm.

 Through calendar view in calendar module. On-click of any box in calendar-
 view it's possible to add event or todo.
