 Hi,

 These feature is working accordingly in vtiger 6.1.0. Please check

 1. Create vendor and relate few contacts for this vendor.
 2. From detail-view of vendor, if you create purchase-order.
 3. In purchase-order edit-view, Vendor field is filled by default.
 4. On click of contacts reference field, It will list only contacts
 related with this vendor.
