Comment:

 After installing  the CRM, if a user creates a event/todo.It does not
 appear on the grid view,of his calendar.
 He has to go out and select activity types/choose colors by clicking
 through Activity Types on the left hand side.
 It would be good if it has been already been selected/visible for him.

 Table vtiger_calendar_user_activitytypes visible column by default should
 be 1.But in OS it is set to 0 in DatabaseSchema.xml which is used during
 installation/creation of tables.
