 In vtiger 5.4.0 the username and password fields were '''not''' mandatory,
 thereby supporting scenarios where vtiger and the SMTP server are in the
 same domain and vtiger is trusted so the SMTP server simply relays.

 In vtiger 6 the username and password field are now mandatory meaning this
 not a permissible configuration.
