 hi paproth,

 In our Current  6.1.0 instance, we don't have this issue .
 The default display type of both ship_country and bill_country for "sales
 order" is 1 , so it is displaying in both Detail view and edit view.
 If you change it to 2, then the fields will be visible only in detail
 view.
 TO enable a fields only in list view , set the value to 3.
