Old description:

> Similar case to ticket #4633. The email addresses built like:

> vTiger accepts "-" only in first two ("a" and "b")subdomains, i.e.
> name at A-A.b.c.d.e.f.g and name at a.B-B.c.d.e.f.g
> Putting a "-" in any of the other parts causes an error and it's
> impossible to save such address in the email address field.

New description:

 Similar case to ticket #4633. The email addresses built like:
 name at a.b.c.e.f.g (5 subdomains).
 vTiger accepts "-" only in first two ("a" and "b")subdomains, i.e.
 name at A-A.b.c.d.e.f.g and name at a.B-B.c.d.e.f.g
 Putting a "-" in any of the other parts causes an error and it's
 impossible to save such address in the email address field.

 Better email field input acceptance should be possible in 6.0
