 Hi, I have 5.4.0 running on Linux.  When you click on a lead, or account
 or organization to send an email from within the system, it populates the
 form, but when you send it, the changes the email into a non-useable
 format.  You cannot edit the email in the form--it is locked out.  See the
 screenshots.  This is a HUGE bug!
