 Yes, I have tried an update with the following packages; adodb 5.18a,
 nusoap-0.9.5,
 Image_Canvas-0.3.5, Image_Color-1.0.4, Image_Graph-0.8.0 and upgraded
 /PEAR.php to the version of PEAR-1-9.4
 (after the upgrade of these packages, PHP 5.4 doesn't log Deprecation
 errors)

 And those package upgrades seem to work correctly. But I haven't tried
 HTTP_Session yet, I will also try an upgrade with tcpdf, to see if the PDF
 generation keeps working.

 php_writeexcel is a problem, there is no newer version of that package.

 But upgrading packages may/should be in a separate ticket, to keep it a
 little bit clean in the tracker.
