Comment:

 Calculating percentage of probability based on Sales Stage works fine it
 Sales Stage picklist value does not change. Since Sales Stages can be
 configured with different values the complexity increases.

 However, using Eventing API (of 5.1.0) achieving the desired behavior is
 easier.
