Comment:

 User being able to type the path to the file, is not a security issue as
 its for local platform to track, and if the user doesn't have read access
 the upload should fail, so how the path comes either from file browse
 button or typed directly should not affect the file upload behaviour, but
 the once the file is uploaded it should show up on the UI. we are not able
 to reproduce the bit where the file upload is 'successful' but the file is
 not shown on the UI. So this invalidates the issue raised by this ticket.
