 Req 1 - Deleting attachments from the hard-disk is not a good idea. It
 might be impossible to recover

 Req 3 - We have introduced Documents module in 5.1.0. It will provide
 overview of all the attachments that is made in CRM and option to reuse
 the attachment for more than one record

 Req 4 - Not sure about the Media management, if it means capturing
 extended file information we can achieve it in Documents through custom
 fields based on requirement.
