#5793: field formulas: no field validation in edit view for mandatory fields

 1.create a custom field and make this as a mandatory field
 2.now create a field formula for this field
 3.in the create view there is field validation for custom field (can not
 leave this field empty as its a mandatory field)
 4.but in edit view no field validation, i can save my record (although the
 custom field is empty)
