 in 5.0.4 RC there is an inconsistency in the line ending style in some
 language files, some lines are ending with <LF> and some lines with
 <CR><LF>. It seems that this is a cause for some problems by making
 language files for other languages (in my case German) which needs to be
 stored UTF-8 coded. My problems disappeared after I set all line endings
 to <CR><LF>.
