 I have a user who doesn't have permission to see amount, lead source
 fields for Potential modules. But he is able to see those details in
 "Dashboard Home" chart.

 Steps:

 1. Create a potential by giving amount and selecting some value in lead
 source field.

 2. Create a user.

 3. Disable amount, lead source field for that user in the field access.

 4. Now go to Settings > Dashboard > Dashboard Home chart.

 5. Now you can see the total amount for the potential which you have
 created in the 1st step in the chart '''Pipeline By Month By Outcome'''
 and you can see the lead source values and its respective chart.
