 The role based pcklists are a progress but the entire concept needs - in
 my opinion - a new approach. Currently, is is very hard for companies
 which operate with multiple languages to configure the picklist. What they
 need is the capability to create  picklist entries which translate based
 on the language used. That means that you should be able to select a
 picklist, make an enty in English and make the corresponding entry in a
 different language.
