Comment:

 Hi frankpie,

I have tested this with latest build.

My testing goes in the following ways:

 1. Installed fresh source.
 2. Mingled new roles under each default role and assigned those roles to
 various user.
 3. Logged in as each user and noticed that the user could see his name as
well as his subordinates names in his event creation form.

So sorry. The issue you have mentioned could not be reproduced by me.

As it is working for me I am closing this ticket.

If I am wrong kindly bear with me and reopen this ticket.

'''Let me clear you about calendar sharing.'''

By default , Organization sharing level is set as Private for Calendar. It
means that, only the record owner and the users above that role in the
hierarchy can view, edit and report on those records. If you make it
public, everyone in the organization can view other user's calls,
meetings, and To dos, which is not recommended. Thats why we have
prohibited the change privileges option for calendar. The main purpose of
calendar sharing is to share the user event who is in higher level in
hierarchy role with his subordinates(those who are under him). So no need
to share the user event with his higher roles. By default they are having
 access to his events.

You might be noticed this issue. http://trac.vtiger.com/cgi-

 Thanks & Regards,

 Bharathi.
