 Why isn't the functionality the same?

 If I send an email to a contact, the email gets added to the "More
 Information" page of that contact under the Emails heading.

 If I send an email to an account, it doesn't get saved anywhere and there
 isn't an Emails heading under the "More Information" page.

 Accounts have an email address option and there's a send email button just
 like on contacts. Would it be possible for it to behave in the same
 manner? the reason I'm asking is we don't have (or need) contacts for
 every account. The information held in the account is adequate and
 creating a contact would just be redundant data entry.
