 As postgres support has landed it seems to me that most of these issues
 should be fixed now.

 I'm unsure of the timestamp problems.  This seems like a mysql bug (the
 generated table creation code is valid SQL) is it only present in certain
 version of mysql 5.0.x? I seem to remember the first couple being pretty
 buggy.

 Re Changing ON DELETE CASCADE to ON DELETE NO ACTION would simply
 determining and removing the circular references work instead?  If not
 can't we just leave the ON DELETE part out (I'm pretty sure NO ACTION must
 be the default on just about every database).
