 As discussed on the mailing list, there is a pending feature initiative to
 add Google Maps support to vtigercrm-5.x.

 Since the Google Maps service is a moving target (perpetual 'beta'
 status), it makes sense to choose and integrate a third-party PHP Google
 Maps API library, one which will track new features and API changes
 without any duplicated work on our part.

 Separate tickets will be introduced to suggest vtigercrm-integrated Google
 Maps features, this ticket is only to discuss/select the third-party
 library we should choose.

 As with vtiger's use of other third-party libraries, I'm OK with snapshot
 versions, but we need a standing policy to merge in new releases to our
 local snapshot, except at such times as vtigercrm is very close to final
 release candidate status.
