 This bug is linked to 1504 in the way that by default we must remove the
 current date from potential custom date fields, to make the field blank to
 be accepted when saving. When trying to edit the potential the dates are
 then displayed as 00-00-0000 which is apparently not a valid date.

 I do not know why, when no date is entered, 00-00-0000 is displayed.

 Correct function should be to display nothing if no date is specified.
