 The homepage in version 4 was better because it let you get more done by
 viewing all the information you need at once.

 For example, what does a customer service person want to see immediately?
 1. List of new support tickets
 2. List of support tickets assigned to me
 3. List of my activities not completed.

 For sales people:
 1. List of activities not completed
 2. List of new leads assigned to me
 3. List of open opportunities I am working on

 So basically, everybody (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing) needs an
 appropriate home page that they can customize.  Each home page would
 contain grids show filtered queries of tables.

 I like the look of the new home page but unfortunately, it doesn't help
 people get their work done.
