her Mercedes-Benz in an alley on Detroit's East Side, about eight miles
from the upscale home she shared with her husband and children. A
man walked into a Michigan police station Tuesday and claimed to be
an accomplice in the murder of a Detroit marketing executive found strangled
in the backseat of her car.Joseph Gentz, 48, allegedly said he had
a direct role in the murder of Jane Bashara, who was found
dead last Wednesday, and that the woman's husband was also involved in
the crime, Fox affiliate WJBK-TV reported.Bashara was found strangled inside her Mercedes-Benz
in an alley on Detroit's East Side, about eight miles from the
upscale Grosse Pointe Park home she shared with her husband and children. The
56-year-old's death was ruled a homicide by strangulation, and her husband, 54-year-old
Bob Bashara, was named a "person of interest." He reported his wife

to be an active homosexual a zero-tolerance policy experts
called relatively rare.He was not averse to new methods of outreach. Heeding
the pope's call for a "New Evangelization," Bevilacqua used then-novel methods, such
a toll-free confession line, a live weekly radio call-in program and an
online forum for people to pose questions to priests."We are carrying out
the wishes of the Holy Father for a new evangelization, reaching out
to people like never before," Bevilacqua said after a telephone hotline began

this month announced plans to close 48 schools, displacing nearly 24,000 students.Bevilacqua,
as required, had submitted his retirement to Pope John Paul II when
he turned 75 in 1998. But the pope did not accept it
at
a administration in his remarks. He seemed to be having a good
day in Washington, with Obama reaffirming U.S. support for Georgia's aspiring NATO
membership, as well as talking up the possibility of a free trade
deal."I can tell you we are incredibly grateful as a nation for
continued support and strong ... cooperation that we'll be getting from your
administration and from the United States of America at every level," Saakashvili
said. He added Georgia is "grateful" for U.S. support on NATO membership
and other issues.Georgia declared independence in 1991 after decades of Soviet rule.
The country clashed again with Russia in 2008, in a dispute over
two separatist regions. That clash came at the beginning of the 2008
general election campaign between then-Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain.McCain later
tried to use Obama's response to that conflict against him, criticizing Obama
for calling for "restraint" on behalf of Georgia. Obama, though, actually calle
